We are seeking a dedicated and organized Events Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating conferences, events, and functions from start to finish.

Your primary duties will include liaising with clients, managing event details, and ensuring that all aspects of the event run smoothly. You will also be responsible for creating a professional impression as an ambassador for the hotel at all times.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with clients in the lead up to, during and following their special event
  • Managing and assisting with conference room set-ups/room turns, break downs, manage/troubleshoot audio visual equipment, food and beverage service, cleaning/vacuuming of event space where required
  • Continuously solving and responding to issues surrounding the event at hand in order to make the day as perfect as it can be
  • Preparing, managing and facilitating event activities as well as following up with client post event
  • Organizing equipment, contractors, assets, and people surrounding and contributing to the event
  • Handling telephone enquiries regarding functions and convert enquiries into firm bookings

To be successful in this role, you will need to have prior event coordination experience and a strong marketing and strategic focus. You will also need to possess impeccable attention to detail and time management skills, as well as excellent communication and relationship building abilities.
