Role Overview
As a Foundation Studies English teacher, you will deliver Exploring Narratives, Comparative Texts, and Creative Narratives courses, assess student progress, contribute to curriculum development, and provide an exceptional student experience.
Requirements
- Recognised degree
- Appropriate English language teaching qualification
- 2 years ESL/EFL teaching experience
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated skills in delivering and assessing face-to-face and online classes
- Substantial discipline knowledge
- Capacity to identify learning problems and propose strategies
- Ability to contribute effectively as a team member
- Skills in using relevant information and communication technologies
- VIT registration or Current Working with Children Clearance
Desirable Skills
- Experience teaching international students in secondary schools
- Proven collegiality and ability to share ideas
- Knowledge of current pedagogical practices
