Industrial Equipment Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Craftsman to join our team in Coffs Harbour, Australia.
This is a permanent full-time position working 38 hours per week with opportunities for performance-based salary increases.
As a Mechanical Craftsman, you will be responsible for installing, upgrading, servicing, and maintaining equipment and machinery related to the Council's water and wastewater operations.
You will work closely with the Mechanical team to ensure the optimal use of equipment, materials, time, and resources.
A strong problem-solving ability and investigative skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to effectively fault-find, assess issues, and report on findings to safely complete projects.
The ideal candidate will have significant mechanical experience or mechanical aptitude, trade qualification Fitter / Machinist, or other relevant trade with maintenance fitting experience.
You will also assist in planning daily tasks and participate in an on-call rotating roster.
