Job Description

As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, your key focus will be on conducting onsite maintenance, servicing, and minor repairs to Hitachi earthmoving equipment. This role requires strong diagnostic skills, excellent communication and customer service abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

  • You will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, diagnostics, repair work, and servicing our premium equipment in the field.
  • Maintaining good relationships with customers through effective communication and support.
  • Minimising machine downtime and maximising productivity.
  • Completing inspection reports and other essential paperwork as required.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out high-quality maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on Hitachi earthmoving equipment.
  2. Maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
  3. Complete inspection reports and other necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
  4. Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers and colleagues.

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic who can provide expert maintenance and repair services to our clients in the Coffs Harbour area. The ideal candidate will have relevant trade qualifications, experience in servicing and repairing earthmoving equipment, and strong communication and customer service skills.

$95,000 - $110,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
