Job Title: Production Excellence Leader

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned operations leader to spearhead our manufacturing and logistics teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving performance, efficiency, and operational excellence in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage production teams to achieve safety, quality, output, and cost objectives.
  • Ensure all machinery maintenance and pre-start checks are completed and documented.
  • Create and manage production plans, delivery schedules, and production processes.
  • Collaborate with the inventory team to procure production components and raw materials on time.
  • Document and provide reports of forecasted production and delivery dates.
  • Lead, motivate, and engage teams across manufacturing, maintenance/engineering, and logistics to meet individual, team, and site goals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement to drive results and performance enhancement.
  • Promote a safety-first culture across the site, ensuring WH&S processes are in place.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of operations leadership experience, leading manufacturing and logistics teams.
  • Proven track record in developing and building high-performing groups in manufacturing and logistics operations management.
  • In-depth knowledge of concepts and methodologies related to inventory management.
  • Thorough understanding of production planning within a food manufacturing context.
  • Strong background in continuous improvement with expertise in sophisticated methodologies.
  • Good commercial acumen with the ability to manage finances effectively.
