Senior Technical Operations Manager

This is a unique opportunity to lead a transformation journey in a dynamic IT environment. You will be responsible for elevating technical standards and service delivery, building structure, and mentoring others.

The ideal candidate will have experience driving process improvement, creating documentation, and optimising service desk workflows. They will also possess expert-level troubleshooting skills across server, networking, and cloud technologies.

Suitable candidates will have demonstrated success in redesigning and implementing new service desk workflows, ticket management processes, and escalation policies. Additionally, they will have championed the creation, improvement, and enforcement of technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base content.

We are seeking a natural leader who can drive change, build structure where it's lacking, and bring a team along on a transformation journey. The successful candidate will have extensive experience as a senior engineer or technical lead within a Managed Services Provider (MSP).

  • Lead a critical transformation project, elevating technical standards and service delivery.
  • Drive process improvement, creating documentation, and optimising service desk workflows.
  • Redesign and implement new service desk workflows, ticket management processes, and escalation policies.
  • Champion technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base content.
  • Mentor and uplift the technical capabilities of the service team.
