Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Outside School Hours Care service at Carina State School, located in Carindale, Brisbane. As Childcare Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing a team of Educators onsite, including roster management, developing and facilitating an engaging child-centered program, fostering healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents, and managing the day-to-day operations of your service.

About the Role

  • You will work across split shifts to support the service's operating hours of Monday – Friday, 6:45am – 09:00am (Rise then Shine Program) and 2:30pm – 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program).
  • You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too.
  • You will have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma or Higher qualification in Education, Childcare, Humanities, Allied Health, Sport, Drama or similar.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Strong and clear communication skills.
  • A team player with a desire to become a service leader.
  • Australian work rights.
  • Hold or willing to obtain a national police check and a state check for working with children.
