We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Specialist to join our high-performing Packaging Team on a Permanent Full-Time basis.

This is a shift-based weekly rotating position with a varied shift roster including AM (6am - 2pm), PM (2 pm to 10pm) and Night ( 10pm to 6 am). And you will also be required to work the 7-day roster during peak seasons.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the ongoing reliability of our packaging assets across the brewery site. Working with iconic brands, this role will support the delivery of production rates through minimising waste events related to machine efficiency on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide maintenance support to equipment on-site
  • Develop specialist technical skills in equipment and use those for troubleshooting and improvements with production teams
  • Work on some of the latest robotic and packaging technologies or sophisticated brewing processes
  • Supervise contractors attending the site for equipment maintenance
  • Champion a safety-first culture across the Brewery

Requirements:

  • Mechanical trade qualification or equivalent
  • Any experience working on beverage, packaging, robotics or processing equipment would be highly regarded
  • Decision-making in ambiguous situations
  • Experience within brewing or manufacturing is highly desirable but not essential
