Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular maintenance and repairs on a range of mobile equipment.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with career development opportunities, including mentorship and coaching. You will work in a collaborative environment with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment
  • Demonstrate safe working practices and manage risk
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and carry out assigned tasks
  • Perform breakdown activities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive organisational culture

Requirements

  • Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment with a high focus on Safety
  • Experience in mining or heavy industry maintaining mobile equipment such as CAT & Hitachi
  • Relevant Trade qualification including NSW Certificate of Proficiency (post trade hydraulics ticket advantageous)
  • Confident in using Microsoft packages
  • High risk work licenses such as EWP, Working at heights, Forklift, Crane & dogman (desirable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
