Job Title: Human Resources Specialist

Parklands Christian School is seeking an experienced HR generalist to lead the school's people and compliance functions. This role is part-time with potential to grow into a full-time position.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your generalist human resources skills and knowledge. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling recruitment, induction, probation, performance development, and offboarding processes
  • Providing assistance and guidance with people management, injury management, and Workcover claims
  • Overseeing and improving administrative systems that support workplace relations tasks within the school
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Human Resource qualification and/or proven skills in similar roles, preferably in a school setting
  • Working knowledge of injury management and people management practices and systems in a multi-occupational workforce
  • Sound understanding and application of generalist human resource best practices
  • Strong digital literacy, attention to detail, organisational, data entry, and document processing capabilities
  • Championing of strong ethics, interpersonal and discretionary skills coupled with a commitment to quality service delivery
  • Ability to develop effective relationships with school stakeholders
  • Active faith and positive values aligned with our school's culture
