Job Title: Centre Director
About the RoleThis role offers a unique opportunity to lead a team in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to children. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the provision of a safe, inclusive, responsive and supportive environment that reflects the interests and needs of the child.
- To ensure partnerships are developed with families and in the community; profiling and marketing the service.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality frameworks and continuous quality improvement processes, as well as a demonstrated knowledge of early childhood development and education. They will also possess a Diploma in Early Childhood Education as approved by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority.
Additional benefits include 17.5% leave loading and the ability to increase take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits. A 60% staff discount on childcare through Uniting is also available.
What You Need To KnowThis role requires the following skills and qualifications:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education as approved by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority.
- Demonstrated understanding of quality frameworks and continuous quality improvement processes.
- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of early childhood development and education.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Early Years Learning and Development Frameworks and National Quality Framework.
