We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, AU.

The ideal candidate will have experience in data centre technology, WAN, LAN, Collaboration, Security and Internet technologies.

Responsibilities include designing and delivering network solutions, providing operational support for critical network infrastructure, and ensuring network deployments align with policies and standards.

This is a permanent full-time position based in Melbourne, AU. The successful candidate will have proven experience in high availability system environments, knowledge of ITIL service management and quality assurance systems, and recognised professional certification in Cisco, F5, Palo Alto Networks, or other network technologies.

  • Design and deliver network solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Provide operational support for highly available critical network infrastructure.
  • Ensure network deployments align with policies and standards set by the cyber-security framework.
  • Collaborate with market participants and internal technology groups to develop and implement services.

In addition, we require candidates to maintain network monitoring and alerting systems and assist project teams to deliver infrastructure on time and within budget.

Key Requirements
  • Data Centre Technology: Experience in designing and deploying data centre networks.
  • Cisco Technologies: Proficiency in Cisco routers, switches, and security appliances.
  • F5 Networks: Knowledge of F5 load balancers and application delivery controllers.
  • Palo Alto Networks: Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls and next-generation security solutions.
  • ITIL Service Management: Understanding of ITIL principles and best practices.
  • Quality Assurance Systems: Experience with quality assurance tools and methodologies.
  • High Availability Systems: Proven experience in designing and implementing high availability systems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
