Job Description:

The Senior Data Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing modern, scalable data architectures that enable enterprise-wide data capabilities. This role will guide the engineering community through best practices, uplift technical delivery standards, and play a critical role in influencing Latitude's strategic data and cloud transformation initiatives.

This role acts as a trusted lead to both engineering and business stakeholders, ensuring that data platforms and pipelines are robust, interoperable, and built to support advanced analytics, AI/ML, and operational intelligence.

Responsibilities:
  • Architect Scalable Data Platform Solutions: Design and implement modern, cloud-native data architectures (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, AWS) that scale with business needs and comply with governance, privacy, and security standards.
  • Drive Engineering Excellence: Champion and implement best practices across CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and DevSecOps for data pipelines and platforms.
  • Platform Interoperability & Enablement: Ensure data architectures enable seamless data flow, integration, and collaboration across platforms, domains, and teams.
  • Mentor & Uplift Engineering Capability: Provide thought leadership and hands-on coaching to elevate engineering maturity, solution design quality, and technical problem solving across our Enterprise Technology teams.
  • Strategic Alignment & Influence: Collaborate with architecture, security, and platform leaders to influence enterprise-wide cloud and data strategy.
  • Operational Reliability: Lead the design of resilient data services with robust SLAs, automated recovery, and proactive monitoring.
  • Data Governance & Compliance: Partner with governance teams to embed metadata management, lineage tracking, and access controls into data solutions by design.
