Sought after ICT Security Documentation Professional

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced ICT Security Documentation professional to assess and identify security risks or vulnerabilities associated with the implementation of high-profile projects.

  • Security documentation expertise is required for assessing risks and vulnerabilities related to project implementations.
  • The ideal candidate will develop core security document sets for approval by stakeholders.
  • Recommendations for improving control effectiveness should be provided.
  • Complex IT matters need to be translated into clear, concise language for non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Project 1: Analytics Project

The ICT Security Documentation specialist will undertake an assessment of any risks and vulnerabilities associated with the implementation of the AAITP system within a standard operating environment. This includes:

  • Security design for the AAITP
  • Assessment of the effectiveness of controls in scope
  • Assessment of resultant risk of ineffective controls
  • Provision of recommendations to provide additional control effectiveness
  • Development of a core security document set for approval.
Project 2: Unified Communications Project

The ICT Security Documentation specialist will uplift voice and video services across the agency to transform communication infrastructure to deliver a new platform that supports seamless integration with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365. Key responsibilities include:

  • Security design for the UC project work packages
  • Assessment of ISM controls in scope
  • Assessment of residual risks associated with ineffective and partially effective controls
  • Provision of recommendations to provide additional control effectiveness and mitigation plan
  • Development of a core security document set for approval.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years as an ICT Security Documentation specialist working in security-related projects or roles
  • Extensive knowledge of operating systems, data, and database security, security protocols, and principles
  • Previous experience and familiarity with ISM Controls, E8, PSPF Framework, and IRAP process
  • An IT tertiary qualification and technical background in data management, designing, and implementing security solutions
  • High-order communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, CEH, or CISM desired
