Senior Allied Health Professional

The Department of Health Tasmania is seeking senior allied health professionals with experience in clinical leadership, complex case management, assessment, trauma informed therapy, and mental health or relevant related sector to join our Child and Youth Mental Health Service.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to provide high level clinical leadership to the team and work within a well-supported, innovative multidisciplinary team environment.

You will be responsible for undertaking clinical services through the provision of complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies, including the development and implementation of specialized treatment programs.

As a member of our dynamic and well-supported team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside innovative team leaders and consultant psychiatrists to develop new child and youth mental health services in Tasmania.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high level clinical leadership and exercise professional judgment and initiative.
  • Work collaboratively with other clinicians as part of the collaborative multidisciplinary team, including the provision of support and consultation to other team members as required.
