Field Team Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Team Leader to lead our day-to-day operations activities within the Service Excellence contract.

The key objective of this position is to maintain and install underground and internal communications assets.

You will be responsible for ensuring all field work meets high quality standards, consistent with relevant Health Safety and Environment policies and procedures.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Civil works experience - Light to medium telecommunication civil experience
  • Previous team leader experience
  • Relevant field experience in EWP, survey, rod & roping, hauling
  • Relevant technical qualifications FTTP, FTTN, FTTC, HFC
  • Competent in reading and interpreting cable install plans
  • Competent in utilising tablet device

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Confined Space & Gas Test
  • NBN enAble Induction
  • Asbestos Awareness Training
  • RIIWHS302D- Implement traffic management plan
  • First Aid & CPR Course HLTAID011

This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for delivering quality work first time every time, and effective stakeholder engagement.

We are looking for an individual who has experience in a Field Team Leader role and can work in a diverse and complex environment.

A motivated and outcome driven professional with flexibility to travel from time into regional locations to assist other crews as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a small team in day-to-day operations activities

• Collaborate with other teams to achieve common goals

• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity

Requirements:
