The Ideal Applicant
- Display a sound understanding of the Year 7 to 10 Western Australian English Curriculum and Senior School English courses.
- Have experience in teaching ATAR, which would be highly desirable.
- Be able to prepare students for National Assessment Program: Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) and Online Literacy and Numeracy Assessment (OLNA).
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English to students in Years 7-10 and/or Senior School.
- Develop and implement engaging, relevant, and meaningful learning experiences.
- Cultivate a differentiated, challenging, caring, and creative learning environment that caters for a range of needs.
- Utilise evidence-based teaching practices and a range of assessment and reporting methods.
- Support the implementation of the school business plan and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve school goals.
- Build and maintain a positive learning environment through effective classroom management.
- Promote a culture of high-quality teaching and ongoing improvement.
