Job Title: Building Services Engineer

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Building Services Engineer to work within the Building Consultancy Division based within our Sydney CBD Office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage engagements ranging from $1,500 to $500,000+.
  • Conduct condition assessments, forecast works, and cost estimates.
  • Perform technical due diligence and defect including under the SBBIS.
  • Capture and report asset data.
  • Conduct make-good assessments.
  • Prepare consultancy services engineering bids for stand-alone and integrated works.
  • Manage sub-contractor reporting, QA, invoicing, and financial tracking.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients across sectors including commercial office, industrial, aged care, health, hospitality, and justice.
  • Develop in-house relationships and collaborate with MBM's Advisory, Tax, and QS Departments.
  • Participate in NSW, interstate, national, and international travel as required.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in building services and/or FM.
  • Proficiency with international standards such as ISO55000 or ISO41000.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Building, Asset Management, or Facilities Management.
  • Accreditation with industry bodies such as FMA, IFMA, IAM, IPWEA, RICS, or AIQS.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines and budgets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point).
