Caring Food Service Professional Wanted

We are seeking to employ a skilled and compassionate Food Service Assistant to join our dedicated team.

This role involves providing exceptional customer service, adhering to food safety practices and understanding special dietary requirements to positively impact the wellbeing of our residents.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with residents and colleagues, as well as a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

We look for individuals who are kind, self-motivated and passionate about working with the elderly, preferably from Hospitality, Aged Care or Health Services roles.

Key responsibilities include preparing meals, serving food, cleaning up after meals and assisting with general kitchen duties.

Apart from having prior cooking, baking and coffee machine experience, we seek applicants who have a certificate in Food Safety or Food Handling practices (HLTFSE001 preferred).

Candidates should also be able to prepare salads and sandwiches, work effectively as part of a team and have a flexible approach to work and an adaptable nature.
