About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Return to Work Specialist to join our team at Gallagher Bassett. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in guiding injured workers back to health and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance and support to injured workers, employers, and healthcare providers to ensure effective return to work outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of complex injuries and develop personalized recovery plans to achieve optimal return to work outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including case managers, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of return to work and workplace wellness.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in return to work management.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in workers' compensation, injury management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of workers' compensation schemes, including Victorian legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess complex injuries and develop effective recovery plans.
