At NES Fircroft, we are seeking a suitably experienced Electrical Reliability Engineer for an initial contracting role with long-term potential.

The successful candidate will lead root cause analysis investigations of failures and develop work scopes for major equipment repairs using fitness-for-service approaches.

They will also develop and improve equipment management strategies with reliability approaches, implementing improvements, and driving to completion.

Responsibilities will include demonstrating a passion and commitment to Environment, Health, and Safety in the workplace, identifying long-term opportunities for improvement through technical expertise focusing on equipment reliability and plant capacity enhancement.

Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in maintenance, reliability, heavy industry, or plant engineering
  • Victorian Engineering Registration
  • Understanding of risk management, quality improvement, and reliability excellence processes
  • Adaptable communication and relationship-building skills, with strong problem-solving abilities
