Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Operator to support the construction and maintenance of our road network, property, and facilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Operating and maintaining plant in an efficient and safe manner on construction and maintenance jobs.
- Maintaining and monitoring traffic control and safety signing on the job as required.
- Undertaking routine machine checks with regard to safe legal operation, fluid levels and lubrication points.
- Maintaining accurate time sheets and work program documentation.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A Certificate of Competency for various plant such as front-end loader, backhoe, bobcat, and/or excavator.
- A Victorian Driver License, Construction Induction Card, and recent National Police Check or ability to obtain prior to commencement.
- Experience in civil construction, maintenance, or concreting works is highly desirable.
- A Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver License endorsement and Traffic Management ticket or a willingness to obtain prior to commencement is highly desirable.
- Sound working knowledge in the operation, safe use, and maintenance of plant and equipment, with the ability to perform manual work in accordance with OH&S guidelines.
- Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, integrity, and respect.
