Senior Program Officer - Grant Specialist Role Summary

This position is an integral part of the Long-Term Recovery and Resilience team, responsible for conducting market analysis and planning to inform commissioning decisions.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of procurement and grant management processes, combined with financial acumen and exceptional communication skills.

About the Team:

The Long-Term Recovery and Resilience team works closely with communities affected by disaster events to provide meaningful support and recovery activities.

The role involves developing procurement and grant documentation, ensuring high-level governance practices and compliance with legislation, investment specifications, and departmental policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct robust market analysis and planning to inform commissioning decisions
  • Develop procurement and grant documentation in accordance with legislative requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve project outcomes
