Job Opportunity: Project Officer

  We are seeking a skilled Project Officer to join our team for a 12-month assignment with the Federal Government.

The role will involve working in the Home and Living Innovation Branch, identifying, testing and evaluating new ways of designing and delivering home and living supports through demonstration projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project plans for governance meetings
  • Perform research and analysis, preparing draft reports on governance activities
  • Coordinate governance project reporting and prepare progress reports
  • Prepare written materials, including business cases and executive briefs
  • Maintain a register of actions, issues and risks arising from trilateral forums

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable
  • Experience working within a compliance framework is essential
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are required
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work in a dynamic environment is crucial
  • Knowledge of the National Construction Code is advantageous
