Ethics and Independence Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Consultant to join our Ethics and Independence team within Risk Management. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with our engagement acceptance policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough conflict of interest checks in our Risk Management System, Sentinel.
- Liaise with Divisional Risk Management Partners and team members to identify and manage potential commercial conflicts.
- Collaborate with engagement teams to assess parties involved and services provided.
- Liaise with global conflicts teams to share best practices and expertise.
- Communicate with engagement teams on conflicts identified and provide guidance on processes and procedures.
- Respond to queries from staff and partners on Sentinel in a timely and efficient manner.
- Liaise with Global Business Operations for action items and requirements.
- Assist users in getting the best value from Sentinel and integrated systems.
- Prepare, update, and maintain user documentation and guidance.
- Provide support to other Ethics and Independence team members as needed.
- Apply innovative techniques for process improvements and commit to delivering quality service.
- Remain resilient under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Develop processes or procedures that create efficiencies internally or for the business.
- Identify solutions and provide rationale to support decisions.
- Build effective relationships with KPMG partners and staff.
