Job Description
We're seeking a skilled Contract Review Specialist to lead our contract review team across the APAC region. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for:
- Undertaking contract reviews, including complex terms and conditions, for joint ventures, construction, and non-construction related matters.
- Advising on contract-related issues and reviewing the work of junior team members.
- Supporting due diligence and integration of M&A targets.
- Liaising with external parties, including lawyers and insurance brokers, to confirm coverage and obtain advice.
- Providing ad hoc contract advice to operational teams and liaising with clients/their legal teams to resolve contractual matters.
- Supporting operational teams through the risk management process and helping them resolve issues.
- Working with the risk management leadership team to develop and roll-out improvements to risk management tools, systems, and processes.
- Improving RM awareness, compliance, and capability within operational teams.
- Supporting the generation and issue of RM reports to regions and relevant committees/boards.
- Ensuring Sox control responsibilities are adhered to, where applicable.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A law degree or equivalent legal qualification/experience.
- Minimum 3 years experience in contract review role.
- Previous line management responsibilities.
- Strong administrative skillset, including Microsoft Office tools.
