About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Technical Solutions Architect to join our team at Westpac Group.

About You

As a seasoned professional with extensive experience in IT industry and Financial Crime, Risk & Regulatory projects, you will be responsible for defining and designing high-level technical solutions that ensure reliable, stable, and operationally sound applications.

You will set standards, methods, and processes for developing quality applications with consistent, maintainable code. Your expertise will inform architecture and solutions design for optimal designs, providing accurate and timely cost estimates for design and development phases.

You will also diagnose and resolve complex service issues to ensure effective application development, maintenance, and support. Additionally, you will oversee and validate complex changes to business services to ensure ongoing stability and sustainability.

Your Requirements

  • Extensive relevant IT industry experience in a highly technical role.
  • Experience in Financial Crime, Risk & Regulatory projects.
  • Experience with systems development, support and maintenance, with specialist application knowledge and experience with systems integration.
  • Advanced knowledge of system analysis.
  • Proven results in at least one technical specialism, such as a sub-domain or language.
  • Advanced analysis, problem solving, troubleshooting and consultative skills.
  • A firm understanding of a financial services operating environment, applications and products desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
