About the Role:
  • Aged Care Physiotherapist Position
  • In this key position you will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team as part of our Well-Living approach to help older people maintain or regain independence, mobility, and confidence to remain living at home.
  • Assessing physiotherapy needs and developing individualised programs for aged care clients in the community is a core part of this role.
Responsibilities:
  • Delivering High-Quality Services:
  • You will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to clients under aged care funding programs, ensuring that they receive the best possible care and support.
  • Developing Individualised Programs:
  • You will need to assess physiotherapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients in the community, taking into account their specific needs and goals.
  • Collaborating with the Multidisciplinary Team:
  • As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with other health professionals to ensure that clients receive comprehensive care and support.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualifications and Experience:
  • You should hold a degree in physiotherapy and have current registration with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess physiotherapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients.
  • Postgraduate experience working with aged care services, including rehabilitation and community settings.
  • Comprehensive understanding of reablement and restorative care models.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy.
