School Psychologist Specialist

">About the Role

We are seeking an experienced School Psychologist to join our team. As a specialist in education and child psychology, you will provide expert advice and support to schools, regions, and other stakeholders.

Your role will involve working closely with lead school psychologists, schools, and external agencies to develop and implement intervention programs for students with complex educational needs.

You will be responsible for providing high-level consultation, evidence-based assessment, and interventions that contribute to system-level understanding.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence systems-level change through cross-agency collaboration, policy development, implementation, and evaluation.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist consultation to schools, regions, and other stakeholders
  • Develop and implement intervention programs for students with complex educational needs
  • Work closely with lead school psychologists, schools, and external agencies
  • Contribute to system-level change through cross-agency collaboration, policy development, implementation, and evaluation
">Requirements
  • General registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
  • Demonstrated high-level knowledge and experience in providing specialist consultation, evidence-based assessment, and interventions
  • Demonstrated highly developed skills in applying specialist knowledge and the development and evaluation of contemporary approaches and interventions
  • Demonstrated high-level ability to communicate and clarify complex concepts, provide feedback, and critical evaluation of the management of complex and challenging issues
