Job Title: Research Manager
This is a pivotal role that oversees the management of research activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team responsible for ethics and governance within the research hub.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality advice and review processes for researchers.
- Support the Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) and facilitate its operations.
- Monitor and report on key metrics related to research ethics and governance.
Requirements:
- Qualification in science, health, ethics or a relevant field, along with postgraduate training or equivalent experience.
- Experience in clinical research governance, human research ethics, and/or clinical trials, preferably within a hospital, medical research institute, or contract research organization environment.
- Sound knowledge of conducting or supporting clinical trials.
- In-depth knowledge of legislation and codes governing research and clinical trials, including NHMRC guidelines and regulatory frameworks.
