Are you a seasoned leader with expertise in quarry operations? Do you have a passion for safety, environment, and team management? We are seeking an experienced Quarry Manager to lead our 24/7 site in Melbourne's Southeast suburbs.

 

As a Quarry Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Safety and Environment: You will be responsible for leading a culture that prioritizes safety, ensuring compliance with environmental obligations and relevant safety systems.

In this role, you will also oversee day-to-day operations, provide expert knowledge to production and maintenance teams, and ensure optimal quarry performance. Your leadership skills will be essential in managing a team of approximately 50 reports, developing succession plans, mentoring, and building positive relationships with stakeholders.

We are looking for a candidate with at least eight years of experience in quarry management or operations, with demonstrated experience in a supervisory or management role. Key requirements include:

  • A current and valid driver's license.
  • A tertiary qualification in mining/civil/geology or a similar discipline (desired but not required).
  • A state-applicable quarry manager license.
  • A strong understanding of OHS statutory legislation.
  • High-level interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
