  • Housekeeping All-Rounder Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Housekeeping All-Rounder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional housekeeping services to our guests, ensuring that every room is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.

Duties:

  • Thoroughly clean all sections of the guest rooms, including changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, and wiping down surfaces to ensure an exceptional first impression.
  • Work diligently within established guidelines to achieve impeccable standards we hold dear.
  • Maintain and restock housekeeping trolleys, keeping them organized and well-equipped.
  • Use cleaning materials with care and adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure environment.
  • Respect guest privacy and security, upholding our commitment to their comfort.
  • Report maintenance issues promptly.
  • Prioritize and fulfill guest requests, including delivering amenities, beds, cots, blankets, and pillows, and collecting items from guest rooms as needed.
  • Collaborate with all members of the housekeeping team to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Transport used linens from guest rooms to designated areas.
  • Handle chemicals and cleaning materials safely.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a houseperson or room attendant is preferred but not necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact warmly and welcomingly with guests and colleagues alike.
  • Eye for detail and ability to work efficiently, managing time well and taking pride in tasks.
  • Ability to navigate between rooms may involve using internal and external staircases and open pathways.
  • Willingness to collaborate with colleagues from various backgrounds.
  • Reliable transportation and availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays, and some night work.
