Key Responsibilities as a Speech Pathology Grad
  • Assist children to achieve their developmental milestones, such as communicating their wants and needs to participate in everyday activities.
  • Educate and involve parents, carers, and others around the child to support communication and language development.
  • Support children to speak with clear and correct pronunciation so others can understand them.
  • Treat stuttering and articulation disorders to enable fluent and confident speaking.
  • Address literacy, reading, and writing difficulties in conjunction with teachers and schools.
  • Teach children to manage food and drinks safely.
