About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Maintenance Team at an Iron Ore Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining mobile fleet and other equipment.

As a key member of our team, you will thrive on meeting challenges and acting with integrity in all aspects of your work.

  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing of mobile fleet and other equipment
  • Complete general maintenance tasks, breakdowns, services, and component change-outs to a high standard
  • Source technical information from relevant manuals and computer-based systems
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping
  • Carry out pre-start checks
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A trade qualification as Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years post-trade experience in mining or heavy earthmoving industry
  • Experience in general maintenance, breakdowns, and servicing of CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi mobile equipment
  • Proven commitment to health and safety
