Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team, specializing in the maintenance and repair of heavy diesel products across mining and power generation applications.

The ideal candidate will provide breakdown and scheduled maintenance services to clients in the Pilbara region, operating on a 2/1 or 2/2 roster with flexible FIFO rotation based on preference.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional service to customers across mining, automotive, and power generation sectors
  • Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products on breakdowns and mine sites
  • Diagnose and repair various engines, including engine rebuilding and reconditioning
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies, reporting any issues or incidents to the Field Service Supervisor
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents
Requirements:
  • Mechanical trades qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (Australian standards)
  • Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of HHP heavy diesel products in field service, with Cummins engines preferred
