Program Engagement Officer Job Overview
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Program Engagement Officer to contribute to the development and delivery of the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP) through effective communication, liaison, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Develop Community Engagement Plans: Create strategic plans for QTRIP projects, including key messages, targeted engagement strategies, and associated materials.
- Prepare Written Content: Develop high-quality written content for Ministerial and Executive briefing notes and correspondence.
- Research and Prepare Drafts: Research and prepare draft media releases, social media content, and responses to media enquiries.
- Maintain Stakeholder Relationships: Maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders and ensure the integrity and confidentiality of information.
As a Program Engagement Officer, you will be part of the Mackay Whitsunday Customer and Stakeholder Management team and work closely with program managers and project teams across the district. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong communicator with excellent analytical skills to develop their career and make a meaningful contribution to the transport sector.
