Job Description

As a key leader in our cyber defence team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our security operations. You will drive innovation and lead change to strengthen our security posture and protect our rail freight operations.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned security professional who thrives on making a big impact. You will bring your expertise in security engineering, automation, and orchestration to help us build smarter, faster, and more resilient security operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive the development of a world-class security engineering capability to meet enterprise-wide outcomes.
  2. Define and embed standards and principles that lift our security posture across the business.
  3. Harness automation and AI-driven insights to transform incident response.
  4. Design and implement cutting-edge SOAR tools and threat intelligence platforms.
  5. Create automated workflows that accelerate threat detection, response, and remediation.
Requirements:
  • Proven expertise in security engineering, automation, and orchestration.
  • Experience implementing SOAR, TIP, and advanced detection platforms.
  • Strong background in CI/CD integration and infrastructure-as-code.
  • A passion for driving change, influencing stakeholders, and embedding cyber resilience at scale.
