Cyber Security Architect (Application Security)

We are seeking a talented Cyber Security Architect to join our collaborative and high-performing team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in the design, implementation, integration, and governance of security solutions across cloud-based and hybrid environments.

Your focus will be on enabling secure business operations while ensuring alignment with enterprise security standards. You will collaborate with other architecture teams and contribute to broader cybersecurity programs and initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in securing applications across cloud and hybrid environments, a strong technical foundation, and practical knowledge of application security.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement application security controls aligned with industry standards and best practices.
  • Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop remediation plans.
  • Collaborate with application teams to ensure timely resolution of security issues.
  • Provide architectural leadership in Security Operations Centre (SOC) tooling and threat hunting, particularly with Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Apply security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, ACSC ISM, and the ASD Essential Eight to design secure solutions.
  • Show a strong understanding of enterprise-scale cloud and hybrid infrastructure security.
