We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team at Travel Trade Recruitment. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Daily Accounting Functions: You will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
  • Manage Xero and Tourplan Systems: You will use Xero and Tourplan systems to track, record, and report financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Analyze Financial Reports: You will prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights to support business decisions and drive growth.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: You will assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to ensure the financial health of our business.
  • Team Collaboration: You will work closely with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting and invoice processing.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: You will have proven experience in accounting, preferably within the travel or tourism industry.
  • Xero and Tourplan Proficiency: You will be proficient in using Xero and Tourplan systems, with a strong understanding of their capabilities and limitations.
  • Financial Knowledge: You will possess a strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.
  • Analytical Skills: You will have exceptional analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to identify areas for improvement.
  • Communication Skills: You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
