About the Role

This is a dynamic and challenging role within the Service Stream team, where you will play a key part in delivering accurate and quality outcomes to our Telecommunication clients and stakeholders. As a WMC Scheduler, you will provide expert advice and guidance to our sub-contractor and internal workforce, ensuring that work orders are managed to meet service level agreements or completed within the required timeframe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, analyze, and dispatch work to sub-contractor and internal workforce, utilizing Service Stream's scheduling principles and commercially approved policies.
  • Provide accurate information, advice, and solutions to sub-contractors and internal workforce, in-line with WMC processes and guidelines.
  • Liaise with sub-contractor groups, WMC line management, and NBN.Co teams on complex work orders or when a work order is at risk of failure.
  • Ensure work orders are accurately maintained, updated, and completed in Service Stream systems.
  • Reconcile dispatch work to client files or internal files as required.
  • Guide and educate sub-contractor workforce on UNM order completion requirements to ensure KPI achievement.
  • Receive and respond to verbal and non-verbal communications within agreed service levels or as outlined in relevant processes.
  • Ensure professional and courteous service during all interactions with EUs, NBN.Co teams, sub-contractor groups, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Capture feedback and information from the UNM sub-contractor group for process improvement or creating more efficient sub-contractor work runs.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and communicate ideas to Team Leaders and Line Managers impacting customer service and SLA/KPI achievement.

Experience Required

  • Sound knowledge of the Telecommunications Industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of or experience working within a scheduling or work order management environment.
  • Effective communication and professionalism (verbal and written).
  • Sound knowledge of the NBN Co. National Broadband Network and its rollout program (desirable).
  • Intermediate computer skills to navigate various computer programs.
  • High attention to detail and good time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, high-volume, fast-paced environment with a mature and positive work ethic.
  • Able to absorb change positively.
