We are seeking a compassionate care worker to join our team in providing culturally appropriate care and support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander elders and community members.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced care worker to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality personal care services including showering, feeding, toileting, and social support.
You will work with our clients to develop individualized care plans that meet their unique needs and preferences. This role requires a strong understanding of cultural safety principles and a commitment to delivering person-centered care.
Responsibilities- Perform personal care duties including showering, feeding, and toileting
- Assist clients with oral medication (only for personal care worker positions)
- Provide social support such as accompanying clients to appointments and outings
- Deliver domestic assistance including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A reliable car and Australian driver's license
- Experience working in a care or support role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to cultural safety and person-centered care
- Competitive hourly rates
- Travel allowance and paid travel time

- Part-time or casual contracts available
