Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Solutions Architect to join our Core Banking Team as a Strategic Technology Director. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS platforms, primarily on Azure.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Architecture Design and Development: Develop and execute comprehensive solution architecture designs for key projects, incorporating best practices and adhering to our enterprise architecture standards.
  2. Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and direction to ensure the implementation of architectures in accordance with design requirements.
  3. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with analysts and subject matter experts to define business requirements and develop high-level designs.
  4. Cloud Computing: Utilize experience in designing cloud-based solutions to create scalable and secure solutions on Azure cloud platform.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Cloud Expertise: Proven experience in designing cloud-based solutions using SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS, preferably on Azure cloud platform.
  • Technical Certifications: TOGAF, SABSA/CISSP (for Security) Certified or relevant business and/or technical discipline certifications.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
  • Education: Tertiary qualifications relevant to the Bank or IT industry.
