About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Commissioning Supervisor to join our team and contribute to the success of our construction and renewable energy projects across Australia.

As an Electrical Commissioning Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and managing electrical commissioning activities, including planning, scheduling, and execution. You will supervise a team of commissioning technicians, ensuring all tasks are completed according to project specifications and safety standards.

Your key tasks will include:

  • Preparing and reviewing commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists.
  • Conducting pre-commissioning checks, functional tests, and start-up activities for electrical systems.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any issues identified during testing and commissioning phases.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to resolve technical issues and provide feedback for design improvements.
  • Reviewing and approving test reports, commissioning documentation, and as-built drawings.
  • Coordinating with other departments (Construction, Engineering, QA/QC) to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Providing progress updates to the Commissioning/Engineering Manager and highlighting any potential risks or delays.
  • Supporting project close-out activities, including handover documentation and final testing reports.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • An electrical trade qualification or a Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, and a white card.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical commissioning, preferably in solar farm or large-scale construction projects.
  • Proven experience in supervising a team of technicians and subcontractors.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, testing equipment, and commissioning procedures. Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in using commissioning software and tools.

We offer a competitive salary range of AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus market-leading benefits and long-term career opportunities.
