About the Role

We are seeking dedicated professionals to work in childcare settings, providing exceptional care and promoting centre programs and activities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Delivering outstanding customer service and building strong relationships with children and their parents/carers.
  • Safeguarding children in the crèche and maintaining a suitable attendee to child ratio.
  • Fostering engagement with centre programs and activities among participants.
  • Implementing and evaluating activities in accordance with Council's childcare and child health policies.
  • Cleaning and preparing equipment for use in the crèche, ensuring a safe environment is maintained.
  • Monitoring bookings and payments for crèche activities and recording attendance and usage.
  • Ensuring all OHS and Risk Management requirements are met.
  • Maintaining accurate records of crèche activities as required.

**Requirements:**

  • A current Resuscitation Certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • An understanding of activity programming for young children.
  • A cleared Working With Children Check with Services NSW.
  • Experience caring for children aged 0-5 years in a childcare setting.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer literacy.
