Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join our team at Position Partners in Meadowbrook, QLD. This role offers a unique opportunity to utilise your technical expertise and passion for road infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed surveys for road construction and civil infrastructure projects.
  • Perform high-precision surveys using Topcon survey equipment.
  • Interpret and execute engineering designs, ensuring accurate implementation on-site.
  • Provide detailed as-built data and verification surveys.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure survey requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and manage survey reports, field notes, and data in compliance with project requirements.

About You:

  • A degree or diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
  • Registered as a Surveyor with SBQ.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in land surveying, with a strong focus on road projects.
  • Experience in using Synergy Survey-Profile or equivalent systems for road profiling and surveying.
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and 12d for drafting and data management.
  • Ability to read and interpret civil engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in survey data collection and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations related to surveying on road construction sites.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
