  • Responsibilities:
  • Generating original story ideas and researching topics to create engaging content
  • Interviewing and writing scripts for news stories and features
  • Shooting and editing footage for news packages and features
  • Developing and maintaining contacts in the community to gather information and insights
  • Researching and preparing news reports, whether in the field or in the office

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a confident performer on camera, with excellent communication and written skills. You should be able to work independently, as well as part of a team, and be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Requirements:
  • Video journalism and editing experience
  • Proven experience in writing and storytelling
  • Full driving license
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • An understanding of broadcast law guidelines
