In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
- Support the head chef in ensuring efficient kitchen operations.
- Prepare all necessary ingredients and supplies for menus.
- Consistently produce high-quality food items aligning with hotel standards.
- Implement strict inventory control measures and minimize waste by ordering essential food items.
- Maintain a safe working environment adhering to WHS and food safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate guest feedback to the team effectively.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an executive chef in a reputable hospitality establishment.
- Proficiency in operating various kitchen equipment and adhering to sound cooking practices.
- Completion of a commercial cookery certification or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and safety procedures, including accurate knife handling skills.
- Experience with diverse cooking techniques and methods.
- Availability to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
