Senior SAP EAM Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP EAM Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our implementation team, you will be responsible for designing and architecting SAP EAM solutions, managing day-to-day project execution, and ensuring successful deployment of SAP EAM solutions.

This role involves coordinating project resources, defining project scope, tracking progress, managing risks, and working closely with internal teams and external vendors.

• Project Planning and Execution:
  • Develop plans for discovery sessions based on EAM business processes involved.
  • Conduct workshops with client stakeholders to understand current processes, current SAP system landscapes, and problem statements.
  • Analyze and prepare lists of business requirements and gaps for SAP EAM/PM.
  • Identify clear ownership of requirements and allocate action items to each cross-functional team.
• Stakeholder Management:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all SAP EAM/PM communications ensuring smooth and clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Manage expectations, resolve conflicts, and facilitate decision-making at all levels.
  • Regularly report SAP EAM/PM project progress to stakeholders addressing risks and challenges.
• Team Leadership and Coordination:
  • Lead and manage the SAP EAM/PM team which may include internal resources, external vendors, and consultants.
  • Ensure objects assigned to the team are delivered on time.
  • Communicate interdependencies across multiple teams within own area, driving convergence across these teams to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Reach out to team members if anyone needs assistance in understanding.
• Risk and Issue Management:
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Discuss unresolved issues with the client, understand stakeholder views, and address the issues.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and proactively resolve any project issues that may arise.
  • Document and communicate project risks and issues to relevant stakeholders ensuring timely resolution.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure detailed functional specification documents for custom objects listing out detailed SAP EAM/PM processes.
  • Ensure functional testing and validation for all SAP EAM/PM objects work as expected.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure proper documentation of issues and resolutions.
• Project Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain comprehensive SAP EAM/PM documentation including project plans, status reports, and issue logs.
  • Provide regular project status updates to senior management highlighting key accomplishments, risks, and upcoming milestones for EAM stream.
  • Ensure the project is closed out effectively with all SAP EAM/PM documentation finalized, lessons learned, and post-implementation support in place.

• Minimum 12–15 years of experience in SAP EAM with 2~3 E2E implementation experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications is a plus).
• Strong understanding of SAP EAM/PM architecture and functionality as well as integration with other business systems.
• Hands-on experience on external applications integration with SAP ECC and S/4 HANA.
• Custom application development on mobility platform and integration with SAP.
• Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and emerging technologies like IoT, AI, and machine learning in an EAM context.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• SAP S/4HANA EAM certification or other relevant SAP certifications are a plus.
