Job Title: Project Engineer

As a seasoned engineer, you will play a key role in leading the delivery of bridge projects that make a real impact across the network. You will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective planning and execution of bridge projects, ensuring they meet all legislative, client, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire multi-disciplinary site teams to work safely, collaboratively, and with a strong customer focus.
  • Drive innovation, constantly looking for ways to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and resourcing methods.
  • Administer and deliver contracts, acting as the representative on selected agreements.

Requirements:

  • Excellent practical delivery experience managing direct control and contract resources.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building key relationships with stakeholders.
  • Four-year civil/structural engineering degree from an Australian University or equivalent overseas qualifications.
  • Demonstrated experience in program preparation and budgeting for bridge and/or road construction and maintenance engineering works.
  • Experience in contract management including documentation, tendering procedures, and contract administration.
