**Job Summary**

AFL Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Injury Paralegal/Assistant or Secretary to join our client's winning close-knit team in Sydney.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide administrative support to a top divisional HEAD Senior Lawyer in a plaintiff firm.
  • Assist with a diverse range of personal injury matters, including workers compensation, work injury damages, and CTP/motor vehicle accidents in NSW and various other States/Territories.
  • Typing, preparation of court documents and correspondence, liaising with clients, doctors, solicitors, insurers, arranging appointments, preparing briefs, filing, and general administration.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum 12 months (or preferably more) personal injury legal secretarial/paralegal experience, including workers compensation or work injury damages and/or CTP experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Word skills and an accurate typing speed of minimum 60+wpm.
  • A 'career' paralegal/secretary or law student not looking to get admitted and practice as a lawyer for at least 1 year or more.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Able to work in a vibrant, fast-paced environment.
